i know where i live (saint john, New Brunswick, Canada) that there is a foolproof way to get around the speeding tickets. All you have to do is if your county jail is over full then just go to the jail at about 11:55 pm sign in the sign out at like 12:05 am!! that is all you have to do because the lazy jail cops or security or whatever they are don't want to be hassled to have to rearrange the jail just to put one measly guy in for a speeding ticket!!

You deserve to lose your license. Maybe the path to getting it back will teach you some responsibility.
Shame on you for risking your children's safety. I would have gave you a ticket for endangering minors too!
Are you going to teach your kids by this example? Try to get out of the consequences for your bad behavior?

Go to court and ask these questions:
1) When was the last time the radar gun was calibrated? (if over a year ask how they know it is accurate)
2) Ask the officer the last time he was trained to use the equipment (if over a year ask how he knows he is using it correctly)
and finally
3) Ask if it is true that trees have been clocked doing 90mph.

hire a lawyer!
thats the only way you'll get the ticket reduced to a lesser offense and pay a fine. paying the fine sux but at least u won't get any points on your license.
i've done this on several occasions...

if you cant do the time, dont do the crime....
in other words, if you are on the brink of loosing your license, why did you speed ?????
cant say i feel sorry, those handfull of seconds you mite have gained by speeding cant be making such a difference that you needed to speed...

You would've told the officer that you where drunk and that that was the reason why you couldn't see the speedometer well, and that way he will definitely not give you a speeding ticket.
good luck.

Dude, you should have told the scene that you or one of your kids were going to explode because you had to go pee. You made your bed now sleep in it.
