Lou Gosett (sp?) and Dennis Quaid, in which Gossett (sp?) plays an alien who is male (presumably), yet can, and does, give birth?
What do you think of this concept?

The alien in the movie was probably an example of a hermaphodite, having both male and female characteristics. I suppose that it would be possible to self-impregnate oneself (a lot like what flowers do), although genetically it isn't the safest thing as it's even closer than brother and sister.

Really good movie. I'm guessing that the plot isn't super-original, but the application works well. I still remember the Pepsi can with the old 1980's style logo.

it was a great movie, cool idea but not too likely, still the male seahorse does the whole bit. so it could happen i guess. if things were put together differently.
