Complications would have resulted after Washington's death because he left no heirs to assume the American throne. How would the new king have been selected?

Good question! I think the most likely answer is that the US would have evolved into a sort of quasi-republic, like Rome during the early empire years of Caesar and Augustus, or Britain would have stepped back in to reclaim the colonies.

We could have had a civil war even earlier, like the British did during the War of the Roses, when two different families claimed the throne. It's a good thing John Adams wasn't the one they picked as president. He wanted a monarchy, and he wanted to be the one who was king. George Washington was a Mason, though, and they believe in the equality of all men, no matter what their social status, so I can't imagine that he would have accepted kingship under any circumstances.

After the sons of the king in order to inherit the throne there are the brothers and sisters, in some the male inherit in other monarchies the first born either male or female. But the point is that now days i think there will be no monarchy, some kind of revolution would overdrew the monarchy many years ago. Too many different ways of thinking in the USA

If George accepted the offer to become a king, America would be listed under the 3rd world countries.

A King and a President in a Republic are not really different. It is the Constitution that is the deciding factor. Long live King George.

It's possible that the US could have gone to an elected monarchy, where the major difference would have been that the executive would be in office for life. Given the history of Great Britain and how it might have affected colonial thinking, I think that it would have quickly evolved to a constitutional monarchy with the monarch having very little formal power.
