Of course it has. We realise just how dangerous a threat these terrorists are, that they can get to us, and that we have to work really hard to make sure something like these never happens again.

** to SaintCaRooo - 7/7 is the date that the London Underground was bombed by Muslim extremist terrorists, killing over 50 people.

Not really - well, not for the better anyway. More people are dead, people are angrier at the people that committed these atrocities, there has been more fighting and more wars, more politicians making promises they can't keep. The world is definitely an uglier place after those things. We have seen more glimpses of the strong, unbeatable human spirit of the survivors though. Lets hope nothing like this happens again.

Also, let's not forget the other bombings, etc, that have happened, ie the Madrid train bomb and the bombs in the tourist spots of Egypt, etc.

To paul633uk, I think it's horrible what you said. Not all Muslims are like that. Just a select few who ruin the name of Islam for everyone else. You wouldn't say the same thing about Christians would you? But people like Hitler were Christian and used the name of God for thier twisted sick purposes as well. Sort yourself out. We don't need those kind of racist comments on here. And before you say anything, no I'm not a Muslim or a Christian. I just believe in tolerance of other cultures.

certainly 9/11 has changed the way people are treated. Worse things is there was one Palestine and now there are many or many are growing because of Israeli style of handling the problem. Such type of handling is alienating own people within the community. 7/7 is such a result. 7/7 I returned from office at about 11 pm and again next day early in the morning i was in office.

I think total new approach is needed to handle the changed situation. There has to be isolation based on terrorist has no religion not isolation based on religion based on particular religion.

1. No change has taken place. The extremists or the terrorists have not realised their actions kill innocent people.
2. The countries who have suffered have not responded well and have given more room for further attacks.
3. Problem Identification has not been done by the countries who have suffered.
4. Means of both have not contributed for ending the sufferings of the innocent people.

in this age, disastar constantly warrents regulation. After a catastrophe, no person questions great, all-encompassing new regulations which declare to grant protection from destiny threath, on a similar time as in fact, they suppress the freedoms of the human beings and set the government as much as the place it somewhat is easier for an evil regine with opposed intentions to conquer our u . s . with flatteries and reactions to extra catastrophes, and it somewhat is greater and harder for the human beings to do something to guard themselves against the oppressive government. Any time that a u . s . would not react via thoroughly annihilating the enemy and the possibility, they land up proscribing the freedoms of their own human beings - that's strictly what the communists/statists/democrats take under consideration. Such is summed up via: “You don’t ever want a disaster to bypass to waste; it’s an threat to do considerable issues which you're able to in any different case stay away from.” — Rahm Emanuel

yes of course. People are not afraid of terrosrism, the English showed that to beat them is to just carry on with normal everyday life. American airports now recuire retina and fingerpront scans, and english airports are soon to follow suit. In some area it has not changed though, people still takes public transport. But i think the stereotypical view of all muslims being suicide bombers is wrong, and people who say they are should be taught a lesson and arrested for racial hatred!!!

World changes every day, every moment. Every moment brings in feelings of bitterness , hostility, despair etc. At the same time every event enfolds in itself promise of survival, prosperity and hope. 9/11 and 7/7 gave signals of destruction in one hand but events generating subsequently were full of promises of hope and in born quality of human to fight against evil.
