Well, how much money are you willing to spend? and Do you have any children that you need to worry about? You don't have to leave the comforts of your home to be romantic. If you want to stay home- give her a total body massage and manicure to get her our of the house while you completely clean the house. Then put rose petals and candles all over the house and especially in your bedroom. Have a meal catered if you do not want to cook and break out champagne and your the top of your wedding cake (if you kept it). Put on slow soft music. When your wife gets home surprise her with a candlelit meal and the wedding cake. Then take her into your room where you will shower her with more chanpagne and whatever else you wnat to do (that part is yours) later if you decide to stay in your room and are snacky-have fresh fruit available and a bowl of dip (whip cream and a packet of jello mix is good-mixed together) and feed her fruit like a goddess. If you want to whisk her away - a romantic place can be anywhere from Florida to Vegas to New Orleans. I can't tell you where to go as that is something you must decide. I don't know if you like the night life or somewhere more secluded. But you can do the same thing with roses fruit and champagne. There is a hotel off the Keys that is a very relaxing and no phone or tv. It is on a island. Search the interent for these options. Hope I helped. Good luck

Order her flowers, of course, but then try something different! All women love to be pampered. Since your anniversary is in the summer time, why not do something beach-inspired? Put together a little gift basket with items from Breezy Beach Wear (www.breezybeachwear.com). I recommend the white shell n bead bracelet (will match anything she has) and a silk flower hair clip, and then add tickets to some place or event. The first wedding anny is technically "paper" so you'd be following tradition and being creative at the same time! Book a flight to Disneyland or some sunny, beach location and slip them into the basket, or look online for something in your area like a concert or play and buy the tickets and slip those inside. Have fun and congrats!

This is the paper anniversary. Make her some paper roses and tuck little surprises in the center. Make sure you take the top of your wedding cake out of the freezer and eat it together. Order her favorite take out food and have a nice candle light dinner together. You set up the table and surprise her. Good luck and have fun!!

The first anniversary is the 'paper' anniversary. What my spouse did was take one of our wedding photos and had it blown up into a size suitable for hanging as art in our bedroom. That was a nice way of doing the 'paper' gift.

What ever the present was is not really important, it's the way you give it to her, women like surprises , and romantic gestures, sometimes the gift is not expensive at all but the way it is given is what counts, for me at least!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulation, i wish to you and her the best! You may do something simple . You could write down what you feel ,or you could cook for her, or take her for pic nic. Have fun!
