Steven Gerrard of course, he has the charisma and passion to be the captain, he often lifted the spirit of every player on the pitch when they are down. Also he is a player that can produce amazing score at the critical time, a player that can attack and defense, a player with amazing long passing. He is the Captain for Three Lions.

Lampard and G Neville.
When E needs to score against certain opponents Owen should be the captain when the oposing team is balanced then Lampard. When England needs to defend Neville; as they did a terrible job against the Portugese.
