Don't give her any fuel for the fire. Don't tell her about any troubles you maybe having with your husband, because most likely you forget to tell her about the making up. And most people
hear only bad stuff about the other person, and judge them on what you have said.
If you want be her friend but set boundries.

Good Luck

Tell her to back off. No offense but friends can get a little out of hand when they think they are right about something. My ex-best friend would stop at NOTHING to make sure I saw that she was right and I was wrong, no matter the subject. It really is none of her business what you do with your life. Remind her of that in a nice way and I'm sure if she's as good as a friend as you say, she'll understand.

Shunning or judging is a form of trying to control someone. It is a low tactic. Old people use it a lot I have just found lately. What a weak ploy. She feels inferior or jealous of something and insecure so she or he is obliquely trying to gain power by putting you on the defensive and making you feel like you have something to explain. Tell her to F off.

My neighbor is like this . . .Anything you say and she tries to act like it's sillly . . .even a comment on the weather . . .or like she can't hear you all the way . . .so repeat? repeat? and then she kind of giggles and nods or makes a bit of a face . . .and I just feel like she's lucky I even talk to her . . and here she has to grab onto it as an opportunity to make me repeat myself and then disparage even the smallest comment and act like everything I say is silly. I'm like Oh Ok I don't need to bother to relate to you at all then you dumb old fool. Good luck living in complete solitude rotting in your shitty little apt. then you dumb old F*ck.

I mean come on it is a F'in GIFT (to you) for me to talk to you !

Have you tried to have a chat with her about this? Maybe there is something bothering her. Maybe she's concerned about something. If you've been friends for a long time it's worth investigating a bit.

Your good friend is in love with you, and cant stand the thought that you might be marrying someone else so he is trying to ruin it. You might want to look at what you might have missed about this 'friendship'..

a good friend never pries or becomes judgemental about your life.
they stick by you no matter what.
tell your friend that if he/she cannot be supportive to you and the decisions you have made in life then he/she will lose you as a friend
