i think that the captain should be Lucas Neil because he's a great player and i'd think he'd be a great leader.

Good to see that Australia really has a good backing of fans. I hope they do well in the future. I am a US and Italia fan. So, I have rooted against the Aussies. But now that the cup is over, I hope things are on the up and up for the Aussies. G'day mate!

Tim Cahill.
Harry Kewell may be logical choice but his future is uncertain with his injury problems. He is not playing in Asia Cup qualifiers and indicated he'll decide in a year or 2 if he decides to keep playing.

Tony Vidmar.
He has experience playing in europe, is calm and will have the taste for bitterness in his mouth after the heart problem that kept him out of the world cup. If anyone will do anything to get us to the next world cup it is him.
