Although there are so many great players past & present Dalgleish has to be the greatest ever. He's done it as a player & manager for the greatest Football Club on earth.
(if only we could find another player of his outstanding quality)!
Having watched Liverpool play through the seventies to present day Dalgliesh had you standing up out of your seat every time he recieved the ball. I know other players playing for Liverpool also had you up & out of your seat, but Dalgliesh had that extra something special.

Dalglish was the MAN for Liverpool in the Greatest Liverpool Team (British Team) of all time.
as a Scot I used to watch that Liverpool side because of the Scots in the Team, Souness was the enforcer, Hansen & Nicol mainstays in defence, BUT Dalglish was THE MAN

Rushie is the best. Just a shame he was Welsh & not English.
Owen & Fowler could not even lace his boots.
Collymore is a hooligan and dosent deserve to say he wore a Liverpool shirt. Barnes wasnt bad but the best midfielder was Kev Keegan easily run close by Dalglish.
