I love to go ghost hunting. Hearing ghost stories, and also visit some haunted places. I also live in a few haunted houses as well. Some with a story , that will chill you to the bones.
What haunted places you visit or live at ? What the story behind it ?

yes i do believe in ghosts, in my country the place is filled with them, sometimes they disturb you though, but don't worry cuz if they don't they wont hurt you, not all ghosts are bad, we had this huge brick house near the forest where my family used to live, my family has had numerous visits from ghosts in that house, we didn't live there for long, my grandmother soon sold it, it was the usual flickering lights, nightmares, things moving, things coming out of nowhere, we just couldn't handle it anymore, i have in fact seen a ghost or "white lady" that's what we call it, i saw her up in a tree, while i was playing (i was young at this time) i was screaming my heart out when i saw her! i am in fact a little bit traumatized whenever I'm alone or in the dark.

I had a lovely "spirit" pass through my bedroom not too long ago. I don't think she was a ghost but most definitely made of something other than flesh and blood. The very next day, my neighbor asked if I had seen "the ghost" yet. I was flabbergasted. I have also been in several haunted places in England. A wonderful place to seek the ether. Doubters laugh but it's just like tuning into a radio station. Either you get the signal loud and clear, fuzzy or not at all.

My great grandparents had an addition built onto their house and after they did it was haunted. We later found that the addition was built on Indian burial grounds. Not too surprising since my great-great grandfather was full-blooded Cherokee. The water would come on in the shower by itself and the toilets would flush. Lights would come on and off. My aunt was pulled down the hall by her hair and coffee mugs would swing on the hooks. Doors would open and close by themselves too. I was never really scared of it. When my great grandfather passed away my uncle sold the house and I was living there during that time it seemed to get worse. It was like the spirit or ghost got upset that my uncle was selling the house. The people who bought the house moved and can't get the house to sale...even at a very low price and with them paying closing cost. Everyone talks about the ghost in the green room...the hot spot...the carpet in the room is emerald green.

I live at 3241 Westbury Drive in England. It's a gated community, and when you drive up these big yellow and greenish frogs jump on the windshield. And there is lots of rain and lightning. The walls all around me start to come to pieces and to terms with the thought of evil. Evil is present in the mist, and in the midst of the mist, a pillow will rise. There are also doberman pinchers there too, and they are there to protect me from the evil spirits that haunt my house. I also have a birdcage on top of my bird pool. The poor birds never get to go swimming, but when they transcend the boundaries of their artificial surroundings, they become one of the almightest beasts I have ever seen. I'd tell you more, but I have to go take a dump now.

I used to live in a house here in Spain. The house was not haunted, but I believe the land was. My dogs used to act really strange when I walked them down the garden at hight, they used to walk in single file, very quetly down the lane. One night a rabbit ran past, and they didn't even seem to notice it!

I did a bit of fishing around, and found out that a few years back, on the road above the house, a girl had been killed when on the back of her bf's motorbike. She had been attacked by a dog, who pulled her off the back of the bike. I never felt scared, but I did feel like there was a presence there, and I think the dogs felt it too.

Also, I used to act in amateur plays in an old theatre. I never saw or heard anything strange, but one evening I fell asleep there after a show, and I "saw" an after-show cast party in my dream, it was really clear, all the faces etc... I later found out that the theatre had burned down and been re-built. It was burned during an after-show cast party. There was an old black and white picture of the cast before the show which I eventually found, and it chilled me to recognise most of the faces from my dream.

I lived in a house for 7 years, a very old house with secrets of political matters, still don't known by the public.
The owner of this house was residented at a local ederly home, and he offered his house to me as a big friend of his, for no interest at all!
Very strange things happened at his house during my 7 years stay in it, like too much noices at night, strange three people shadows going up the walls, strange dreams, once I put a big shovel to hold firm the door to my bedroom, I was watching a ghost movie on TV, all of a sudden the shovel flew through air with violence, I waked from on my bed and put back on, and for the second time it went of with violence force!
Then I went visiting the old man, and asked him if there was anything strange in his house. He told me, that I was very lucky living there on my own! Why I asked him. He said that a ghost of a monk was the everyday scene at the top floor next to my bedroom, and kept telling me a strange story of a man who was supposed to have been in exile for political reason, but he lived in there all the time, the house was his haven, and died there. He was a special Personality for our country, and yes we have made a memoriable monument of him.
The most strange thing that happened to me was, that I was completely illiterate and came out of that house with some good education not certified! The old man was an Ex. Prof. a linguist. When I told him that I couldn't stop writing, my personal thoughts, he smiled at me but he was not surprised at all.
I had to leave the house as it became unhabitable. Few months later the old man die. It was a good thing getting out of it at the right time, as all his soul was around me, surrounding me with his great library, remembering him saying, do not touch my books, and at the same time asking me if there was something that I wanted! from his remaining artifacts. Apart from his manuscripts.
If I stayed there I'm almost certain he will come asking of what I had done with his very old Ecyclopedea! I was broke.
God rest his soul.

I too like the thrill, of ghost stories and hauntings. Have been to several places, but the most awesome was a prison, you have to pay $50.00 to stay the night there, but it was well worth it, and it was scary as hell!
