I was reading I believe it was Newsweek, and it said that 1hr shows or 30 min shows (TV) are not really what they say. Because of all the commercials. You will actually be watching a 28 min show if it is a 1 hr drama or show, and a 19 min show if it is a 30 min show. Does anyone else feel cheated? Commercials are too long, don't make any sense and they're taking away from my TV!!!! Yes, I hate them.

Without commercials, to have the TV channel would cost you more, commercials pay for the content we love, and the station to help stay alive. Even though we hate them.

I don't', not all of them. Don't you like to check out all the commercials during the Superbowl? I like most beer commercials, lately the Miller Lite "Man Law" commercials crack me up. That goes for any Jack-in-the-Box commercials as well. I don't even use either of their products! I HATE the Burger King "I am man, I'm incorrigible" ones, and plenty more. My roommate loves his DVR player the most because he can forward through all of the commercials. Some of them crack me up, that's all.

Well if you hate them, then stop consuming in those products/services and stop watching commercial tv. Commercials are needed to keep tv programs on air because they provide the funding needed to keep those programs running and buying the products/services gives those companies money to make adds, completing the cycle. So stop complaining and get used to it, they're here to stay.

I hate commericials at the movie theater! I pay 10 dollars a ticket.. and I still can't get away from commercials... it should be fricken illegals to show ads on the movie screen.. just show the movie!

i love commercials but after whatever i am watching so no distraction. commercials are entertainment themselves in just 30 secs see how you would be amaze by the creativity in which they conceptualized commercials.
