I have hand drilled water at my residence about 75 feet deep. But when it was tested, it was found to have a lot of fluoride, and so I was advised to make defluoridation before using the said water. So how can I do it? And what are the health problems caused by too much fluoride in water? And can I be affected if I use the said water, only for brushing my teeth, bathing and washing my clothes? And how long does it take to see the effects of too much fluoride in human beings? What is the recommended quantity of fluoride in water? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I think you need to look at some kind of reverse osmosis system. Adverse effects of fluoride are mottling of the teeth (dental fluorosis) plus abnormal effects on the skeletal structure, including elongation of the limbs. There are numerous side effects of ingesting too much fluoride, including immune system compromise, lesions in the brain, and so on. Fluoride has a cumulative effect, so it will have an effect on the body over time. Inorganic fluoride (the stuff found in toothpaste) is a highly toxic waste product. You do not mention whether this is naturally occurring fluoride or not. Either way, it needs to be at extremely low levels, which your local water board can test for. Of the 3 examples cited, brushing your teeth is probably the highest contaminant contact, followed by bathing (some absorbtion). As for washing your clothes in it, I honestly don't know.

Like everything in life: "Everything in moderation"

A little fluride in your water is good for your teeth (acts like a descaler) and does no harm to your body (as it is expelled from the other end)

Too much fluride intake can damage your teeth, and damage some of the bodies systems, such as reproductive systems of both men and women. It may also cause gastric and mouth ulcers, and cause osteoporosis. It can also lead to birth defects during pregnancy.

A water purifying machine will remove the fluride from your water, but I have no idea how much is enough and how much is too much.

a water purifyer. It will be ok to brush your teeth in and to bathe in but not to drink. Fluorine is extremely poisonous and it could make you ill if you drink it a lot. I don't know what the safe limit for water is but toothpaste is around 1400 parts per million.
