I grew up on Madness and the other 5 ska related bands ..but madness were my favourite for years..I suppose these two.

Baggy Trousers -- I love singing this in karaoke or a band
My Girl -- reminds me of my youth with a girl

but...
Victoria Gardens and Samantha and In the middle of the night....I love these tracks off the albums...all Madness's song are brilliant though

but ALL Madness tracks are brilliant..

Very difficult one to answer. I was brought up on Madness myself and a lot of the tracks seem to define set eras in my childhood. Baggy Trousers reminds me so much of MY school days, I'd not long started working when Cardiac Arrest came out and I could see who they were on about crammed on the train. Uncle Sam was another reminder of their craziness and just gave me that feelgood factor when I felt like things were getting on top of me.

I went to their comeback 'Madstock' gig at Finsbury Park in '92' and I will always remember 'The Harder They Come'. I think this is the favourite one for me as it was the only concert of theirs I managed to get to and having caused a minor earthquake in the area it cemented Madness as one of the greatest bands of the previous decade.

I loved "Grey Day" That was my all time favourite, but who are we trying to kid. They where a brilliant singles band, and all their singles where great. It was just a question of which song was better.

Its a close call, but 'it must be love' clinches it, although thats partly to do with memories associated with the song too
