well that's because there are three kinds of answers on Y!A.
the first is from the passionate "because i believe this is right type", which are usually taught by whom ever their parental figures were...*how things SHOULD be* according to them. so when they answer a question they are defending their upbringing.
then there is the "because i KNOW everything type", who are the ones that have had a more logical outlook on life and are *oh so serious and mature*. those are the ones that end up giving you PAGES of copy/pasted text...instead of just putting the link.
then there are the constant "whatever ppl", they go with the flow answering what they know from experience and sometimes with a bit of humor and fun. some ppl would like to think they are in this category.
so there ya go...yet another opinion from yet another Y!A addict. happy?

You know being ignorant also has something to do with being narrow-minded. You know like saying that the millions of people answering questions on here are all ignorant even though oneself could never have read the opinions of all of them....And with that I must say I do have an education...

I don't have an education, well not much to be proud of but what gives you the right to call me or anybody else uneducated ignorant
Just because we don't have the education it doesn't make us ignorant. I am full of opinions and as there is something called 'freedom of speech', I will share my opinions.
If you don't like it then tough cookie, nobody is forcing you to read or take notice of my opinions.
So, tell me how I am ignorant because uneducated?

I'm waiting! ;)

When you make statements like "everyone" you show your own ignorance.
Additionally, it depends on your definition of "education" to decide if people really have one. I know some very book smart people (the good memorizers) but they cannot think on their feet nor do they have common sense. They are scholastically educated, but not life educated.

Ignorance is directly proportional to number of opinions. Yahoo answers is like a petri dish for the infernally stupid.

I have an education, I just ignore it on a daily basis.
Display your learning in your answers not in a show of ego.
