It's the start of your new year! Happy birthday, dear Cancer! The new moon that arrived late last month on June 25 gave you a big push of energy, doubly so if your birthday falls on this date or close to it. You may be wondering if you can get important matters done quickly as July begins, to sign contracts or to make key agreements and decisions before Mercury turns retrograde. Alas, no, don't. It is already too late to do that. You began to feel the undertow of the Mercury retrograde period in mid-June, so I probably don't have to do much to convince you that this is not the time to do so. If you do, you will later wish you had done things very differently, or not at all.
On the other end, don't dive into your schedule again on July 29 either. The worst days of the month will fall on the start and end dates of Mercury retrograde, so give a few extra days on either side to let the dust settle. Begin normal activities in early August, after August 5 if possible.
Mercury is the planet of reasoning, perception, agreements, contracts, research, communication, and transportation / shipping. While this planet is out of phase, as it will be in July, all these areas tend to go haywire. It is never advisable to buy anything expensive during these phases, especially electronic items or those with moving parts (like a car). It's also not a good time to make any long-term promises, plans, or agreements, for later you will likely regret having gone into the venture. The fact that Mercury will move backward in Cancer only will reinforce this trend more.
While you wait for life to normalize and plans to jell, you certainly have other great things going on! Romance will be positively fabulous for you!
Jupiter, the planet of abundance, has been touring your fifth house of true love for many months, but this expansive planet of happiness has not gone to bat for you up until now. That all will change now, on July 6, when Jupiter will move from retrograde to direct orbit.
Watch the days surrounding July 6 - you should see some positive developments in love or romance, or in regard to your children or a pregnancy. You'll want to look your best, for when Venus is behind you, it is not very necessary to push or try very hard. In fact, playing hard to get (even if you are a guy) would be just right in this bright time of the month.
If you have been dating a long time, the middle of the month, in the days surrounding July 8 - 10, could be outstandingly special. The full moon will fall on July 10 in your opposite sign of Capricorn, brilliantly lighting your partnership sector. You might decide to get engaged or married, or simply talk seriously about the future. Because Mercury is retrograde, it would not quite be the time to seal anything just yet, if possible, but you certainly can talk.
As an aside - veering off romance for a second - if you are married, you may decide on a new goal together with your significant other. Or, you may use this full moon in a business sense and decide to sign an agent or business partner. Next month - August - make all your plans official. This full moon will help you come to closure, and I feel you'll love the results - Jupiter will be nicely angled to this moon. Uranus will be too, which suggests you will be surprised by the developments.
If you were born on July 11, plus or minus five days, this could be a very big moment of the month for you.
If you are single or attached, one of your luckiest days for love will be July 26 when Venus and Jupiter send you a big kiss - a party or even a simple gathering should be red-hot fun.
Another red-letter day for romance (a bit better if you are single) will be July 30. Uranus will work with Venus, and a chance meeting of a new cutie could happen while traveling or studying.
