I am sure he shouldn't have done it but still the thing he accused was a legal way and i am very happy about it. but still he shouldn't have got the red card because when zidane was trying to give a goal some italian player jumped on him and the referee didn't even give a yellow/red card. But that italian player was saved. The act he did had no illegality in it.He did nothing wrong but then he is not saying why he did but then there team mates suspecting that illmannared stupi italian *****(italian player) said something to his mother or he called zidane an stinkly algerian.
whatever it is Italy the country thieves and robbers do not deseve to win the cup.
At irst they should punish the referee for not seeing the match carefully and it is seem that referee took italy's side.
and then the final should be a rematch.
The whole world loved him and he was very good and he ha a polite and gentle behavior but that only because of that bustard italian player france lost the cup.
i pray to god he doesn't gets retired and comes back for his revenge.
whatever i said it true and to the point

i think Zizu is a very calm and good player. i believe that something bad had been said by the Italian player that evoked Z to act in such a way. his act can actually be best justifies if we know what the Italian player actually said to him. i strongly believe that the Italian player said something really bad that most probably is attached to race or religion. since both race and religion are related to identity, it is natural for Z to act so. i am very much amized wahat the 'civilized' people are recently doing when it comes to racism and religion. the logo for World Cup 2006 is 'Say no to racism' but it is just symbol. i am very much disappointed by the Italian player.

he did. Called him a terrorist, but that's not the reason why zidane hit him.

Russian news: David Trezeguet was standing near by while it happened and shared what he heard with journalists:

Zidane to Materazzi - you played with you hand, boy, used your hands
M - you're mistaken (it only seemed that way to you)
Z - that's the only way you can stop me. Just wait, we'll bit you in penalty and then you can find something better to do with your hands.
M - keep dreaming! In an hour your mother will (rude words) me, the champion!

Then Zidane hit him.

talking trash is not against any rules...and he never called him a terrorist...

zidaine has 14 red cards in his professional career and had 3 Yellows during the tourney...he is NOT to be messed with...

people say that he is respected...that isn't for being as good as he is...that is because of his violent streak...

14 red cards and 3 in the last 8 years...he headbutted another person in 2001...he sets his own ridiculous precedent...

If someone would have abused me in that way I'd have let his tongue hanged not just a head butt. Zizo showed what man can do to defend his pride
