maxi rodriguez vs. mexico, luis ronaldo vs. ghana, beckham vs. equador, torsten frings vs. costa rica, fabio grosso vs. germany, and zizou's "audicious" goal vs. italy....sorry can't name just one....they're all fabulous!!!

there were two goals scored from shots that were absolutely unstoppable!
kaka's goal against croatia had a flight path that kept the ball outside the left post for almost the whole journey and curled in just in time to find the net.
as for the second one scored by beckham against ecuador, well an ounce of energy more on the ball would have made it humanly stoppable. it took assistance from the post as it bounced inside.
personally i liked philip lahm's goal in the opening match against costa rica too.
all these reeked of the accuracy and immaculate ball control that each of the players had possessed.
as for the goals by maxi rodrigues against mexico and that scored by joe cole against sweden, well they were absolutely stunning and is not devoid of any sensational qoutient but a closer look would reveal there was an element of luck in them as well, considering the many shots made by each of them from that range, that were way off the target.
considering the amount of running philip lahm had done to score the opening goal, i give it my top vote.
