If Jews are really descendants of Jacob's (whose name became became Israel later) 12 sons -and all Jews do still beleive this way- then it's unquestionably that the Arab as a race are older than them. the Adnadian Arab who are the descendants of Ismael (Ishmael) are older than the Jews because Jacob was not the direct son of Ibraham unlike Ismael the father of all Adnanian Arab. On the other hand the other half of Arab (the Qahtanian Arab) since down history and they used to trace their line age to their ancestor Hud (Eber) through his son Qahtan (Joktan) at a high accuracy lever unlike the Jews. Jacob/Israel (the father of all Israelites) came much later. So In conclusion, it's obvious that the Arabs as race is much older than Jews!! the hidden fact!!.

Actually, they are probably one and the same people because we do not know exactly where the first people migrated from to eventually settle in the Cradle of Civilization. There is no written evidence before then and it is very unclear. I think they are the same people, just took different turns somewhere. But...it could be that the Asians are older than the Arabs and the Jews, or maybe, just maybe, the American Indians could be older? The point is, it is one of lifes little mysteries. I am sure someone on here is gonna say that we all came from Adam and Eve, HA, yea right. You do have a point there, although, the term ARAB usually means Saudi Arabia, right? well, that area was not settled (except for a few small tribes) until after Canaa. But, the Bible may be wrong cause archaological evidence suggests that there was not such an immense amount of land taken over because there simply is not evidence of a large amount of people in those areas at the time of the conquest or even after. So....We may never know, Good question

You are making something religious which isn't. European Jews began re-arriving in the area again in the 1820s. They settled in Safed and Jerusalem. They learned Arabic. They were naturalized Ottoman citizens. They were helped in starting dye workshops and textile factories by the arabs, who had discovered that lime stone was a great dye stabilizer; and there textile shops sold the goods to europe before the Safed Earthquake destroyed everything and the Safed group moved to Jerusalem which was poorer. In the 1850s Zionism was invented by Theadore Herzl. It was simply the Jewish version of Nationalism, a popular political theory of the time that said ethnicity is the primary identifier of a Country, and every ethnic group has a right to their own country. The first wave of Zionist immigrants arrived in 1880s and 1890s. Unlike the earlier settlers, they did not just want to live there, they wanted to control it and make a country. That's when the fight began. It's not a religious fight. The first settlers were religious and had 60 years of peace. The others were not and started a fight. If you want to say Israel is good, that is great. If you want to say it's bad, also okay if you have a real reason. But you should not imagine the conflict is a religious one. You also assume there are not Palestinian Jews. You are incorrect. There are 12,000 Palestinian Jews, recognized as Palestinian by the PLO National Charter, the de facto constitution of the Palestinian Authority, which is a secular political entity. It recognizes Jews born in the region before 1900 and their patralineal descendants as Palestinians with full rights. The very first person to ever become a naturalized Palestinian was a Jew, in 1977. He served in the Arafat cabinet until Arafat's death. That Cabinet also had 2 Christians and an Agnostic. In Israel there are a majority Jews with citizenship, and Christian and Muslim minorities. The Palestinians are made up of a Muslim majority with a Christian and Jewish minority. To make the conflict about religion in your head confuses the point and will only lead to it lasting longer because the real issues are not discussed.

According to Holy Qur'an,Ibrahim or Abraham prophet has two sons the elder is Ismael and the younger is Ishak not Jacob prophet...Abraham had 2 wives who has one son each. The descendant of Ishak prophet are all Jews and the descendant of Ismael prophet are all Arabs.
Most Arabs have an Islamic religion.Arabs and Jews existed in same era.In the Holy Qur'an spoken that Musa or Moses prophet
brought the Jews from Egypt in the era of Fir'aun accrossed the red sea to Palestine.Allah saved Moses and his Jew followers by instructing Moses to beat his miracle stick to the sea and then the
water was divided and gave the way for Moses and his followers.
Fir'aun and his soldiers who run after Moses and his followers were sinked and all died.

If you mean with Arab vs. Jew actually Muslim vs: Jew then of course Judaism is older than Islam. It is proven that the Islam was made of parts of Christianity, Judaism and nature religions in Africa...
