Politics in a nutshell is sales. A marketing strategy (elections), execution of plan (seat in parliament/house), marketing of product/service (meet the people and show them you care), reap the profits (make people think you're working, while you're busy counting coins). Actors and salespersons make very good politicians because they can convince people very well. If you're wondering how they get paid $100,000 plus every month, check your bills, receipts and taxes. GST and tax may look small on paper (5 cents here...7 cents there...etc) but nationally it adds up. Imagine taking 5 cents (no one minds parting with this amount of money) from everyone in the US. Who's rich now? :) Kachhhinggg....

Mr. Constitution himself, Mr. Robert C Byrd said it this way this fourth of July........
"We the people choose our fellow citizens to go to Congress, go to the White House or the Statehouse, and speak and act for us. But, should they fail our trust, we can replace them through peaceful and open elections.
It is because this country, these United States of America, has so closely reflected the values and morals of its people that we have become the Greatest Country on Earth."

God Bless Mr. Byrd and the USA....
