People, viruses don't cause restarts, ever. Here's what causes restarts: #1- heat, either the processor or motherboard chipset overheating, #2- video card overheating, #3- failing memory module, #4- power supply bad/going bad, #5- motherboard capacitors failing/gone bad.
To check for heat, just take the side panel off of your computer, then use it normally. Also, when you take the panel off, notice how much dust there is inside of it. You'll want to buy a can of compressed air, and blow the dust out, paying special attention to the most important part, the processors' heatsink and fan. Do this with the computer turned off, and only shake the compressed air BEFORE you start spraying. Shaking the can while you spray causes it to drip water, and water is bad for the insides of a computer.
After blowing all of the dust out of it, if it's still restarting, download and install this: http://sp2004.fre3.com/download.htm and run it at Priority 9, with Large, in-place FFTs, which will stress both your RAM and your processor, and let you know if you've got a problem with either. It will also get your processor pretty hot, so you might want to do it will the side panel removed.
As long as the capacitors on your motherboard don't look like this: http://www.pbase.com/johncoggi/image/40667989 that leaves only one thing: your power supply. This is a nice one for the money: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817101513

either buy a new computer(best bet) or u can get a new hd and os, witch is probably ur problem, the hardrive probably has a virius on it and is probably really small anyway so if u just get a bigger hardrive then get a newer operating system to moniter the viriuses that pose a threat to ur computer

your system is been infected by virus, pls do clean virus check as soon as possible, before doing so pls disconnect the internet if you have one, and try to do scanning from Safe Mode or Dos Mode (Don't boot from windows and go to Dos, Boot directly from Dos), Use Avant or AVG, they are free one.
Even you complete once, do twice or trice, its very better to have more than once.

So many amateur computer repairmen. This is great reading. Virus will probably not cause this. Best guess is bad ram memory.
