Clomifene citrate potentiates ur ovaries to produce multiple ova on the hope that at least one of them will be fertilized by a sperm. for u i recommend a full investigations including hormonal study, ultrasound and if nothing was found u may go for laporoscopic intrvention. Clomifrne's effect is checked every 6 months and if it didn't work u may repeat another course for another 6 months. We must not forget ur partner's seminal fluid analysis. Anyway try to decrease ur stress, learn to relax and everything will be ok. Do not forget that we have assisted reproductive techniques these days. Good luck.

I assume you mean Clomid or clomiphene. It is a treatment for a woman who isn't ovulating, although it is sometimes given to women who don't need it just because the doctor doesn't have any better ideas.

If you are, in fact, not ovulating, it will make it more likely that you can get pregnant. If you *are* ovulating, clomiphene can make it *more* difficult to get pregnant because it interferes with other necessary steps in conceiving (specifically, keeping sperm alive long enough for them to fertilize and egg and allowing time for a fertilized egg to implant).

I would suggest you read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler for informaion on how to increase the likelihood of getting pregnant.

The first thing is stop stressing. The main cause can be from worrying about it. Take time out pamper yourself and your partner and enjoy it. It normally takes at least 6 months to concieve.
GOOD LUCK

I assume you mean clomid, you need to give it some time, if you just started it last month give atleast 3 months, if you don't get pregnant then, your doctor can increase your dosage. they do it slowly so you don't have a litter. Also, stress interferes with you getting pregnant, so don't sweat it so much and let nature take its course!!!!!
