I'm from Europe...;and this World Cup was great. You had all the best teams of the world in the last 16. It's not like the 2002 world cup, where it was all messed up, and referees were, what's the word...;;weird, and knew very little about soccer!
germany did a very good job, hosting the world cup, it was a success. Except for that loser Materazzi, who provoked probably one, if not the best player around the world!

I have spoken to Australian fans who were in Germany and they have had nothing but praise for the German performance in World War II. They compared its spirit to the 2000 Olympics. FIFA was certainly pleased as well as indicated on its web page.
"Besides a passion for football underlined by the millions who gathered on Berlin's Fan Mile to watch Germany's matches, the host country also displayed unstinting generosity towards its many visitors. Thanking his countrymen in Berlin on 9 July Klinsmann delivered the epitaph "You're unbelievable" – words that sum up the tournament's 15,000 volunteers, whose levels of organisation and enthusiasm have been remarkable.
