Like does it hurt? Does it hurt when it gets pierced? Do you get alot of infections or does your nose hurt like when you have allergies what do you do when you have a runny nose and you got to sneeze somone tell me the advantages but mostly the disadvantages of having it pierced?

Ok talking from experience it does not hurt very much. But then again everyone has a different feel for pain. Your eye does get watery on the side you get it pierced. Although you may get an infection, it is unlikely unless you touch it with dirty hands. I don't have allergies so I can't help you there. As for a runny nose you can clean your nose as usual just being careful not to squeeze your nose too tight. The disadvantages are: when you first get it done you might forget you have it and accidently try to scratch and causing some pain, some employers do not like them and can be an obstacle to getting a job. But the advantages are...it looks cool, its something different, they look nice, and they are not high maintenance. Oh and the jewelry is not expensive unless you want diamonds and stuff...lol Oh yea if you do get it...try getting a straight ring (stud) because with the pain you might experience then the piercer inserting a screw ring..OUCH! I tried it and I bled quite a bit.

I recently had mine done as well and it's normal to get yourself all hyped up and think it's going to hurt a lot. My piercer was very kind and answered all of my questions patiently and made sure I was comfortable with what was going on. She explained everything. I held on to the chair's arms for dear life. She told me to inhale and it was a tiny pinch and my eyes watered and that was it. I think getting my ears pierced was worse! I got all worried for nothing. The worst part for me was when the jewelery went in. It did not hurt, it made me feel like I had to sneeze. Still, it does not hurt. I had a little scab on the inside that fell off quickly. No pain at all. I am very surprised. I clean it twice a day with a gentle anti-bacterial soap and water. I don't really have any problems with sneezing or blowing my nose. I just do it like normal. You just have to be gentle since there is now somehting in your nostril Other times, if it feels irritated or anything, I have a sea salt spray that soothes it and feels so nice. Never use Bactine, peroxide, Neosporin, etc as these will irritate the piercing. Don't play with it and don't try to change the jewelery. A small stud is best at first so you can get used to it and your nose can heal up without the jewelery getting all caught on things. And if you have any problems or think something isn't right, go back to where you had it done. They should be able to help you. Good luck.

I got mine pierced over a year ago. There was moderate,short lived pain with the piercing and very mild soreness several days after. Take care of your piercing while it heals and no infection trouble. There's no difference with a runny nose or allergies except I may have to remove jewelry to get a good blow and wipe-but once healed and you have the knack this is no big deal.
I love my piercing and would do it again if I lost it for whatever reason!

if u have had your ears piecred thats exactly what it feels like.Its a simple procedure and if it is done using the the handwashing and sterlizations on both hands and instruments(and the area to b pierced) you should do just fine. once in awhile a few ppl may feel a slight soreness for that day others don't.no having allergies should not bother it once it has been done.in 2 to 3 days u really neednt worry about sneezing or that stuff.hope it helps. from a nurse..... that has assisted in the procedures.some doctors will do it and some places u might have to go to a special shop in your area butthose are things to look for.hope it helps u :)

I pierced my nose myself the first time a year ago cuz my parents wouldnt let me get it done. I didnt think it hurt me at all.. but your eyes do tend to water a bit. As for the allergies & sneezing, my allergies are bad sometimes but i never had a problem with it, however when i did have a really bad cold i sneezed & my earring came out cuz it got caught on my tissue.
The disadvantages:
It could get caught on your clothes if you're not careful (happened to me in gym class) & it could possibly fall out in your sleep depending on how you sleep! Good luck!

i've had mine done three times and each time it would never heal. it hurt like hell but was bearable. it kept getting infected also, the doctor said something about an allergy to the metal. as far as having a runny nose, you can still blow it (you have to be careful about how you hold the tissue if it's not healed or infected) and if you need to get a booger out, a q-tip is your best option.

I've had my nostril pierced for a lil' over 3 yrs. now....The actual piercing DOESN'T hurt at all!!...All I felt was some pressure, & that's all....Of course, it's sore afterwards....But just Dr. it up as directed and you should be fine...
As it's healing you have to be careful of a few things...You can't put make-up anywhere around it, you have to be careful washing your face/drying it off (especially if you're using a towel)..Have to be careful putting on t-shirts, or just hitting it in general, & of course you have to be careful how you sleep on it, especially if you wear a hoop....It doesn't hurt to sneeze or blow your nose...You just have to be careful when it's healing...that's all...

Ive honestly never got my nosed pierced but it dont hurt becouse they do it fast my cuz told me

most likely to hurt and get infected...but piercing the nose..i thought that was only in the animals...oh well everybody with their game...
