That is a very insightful question. Would you be surprised to learn that the opposite is supposed to be happening? That everything you eat is supposed to be CURING disease and disorder?
The key is the last part of your question - 'disease or disorder'.
'Dis - ease' means the opposite of 'ease'. 'Dis - order' is the opposite of 'order'.
Your body is an extremely complicated machine, with millions of micro-machines operating inside of it. Each part of every machine depends on the correct function of all of the others.
When all the components are okay, then your body functions properly with 'ease', in other words, it is easy for you. You don't have to do anything, everything functions automatically. But if something goes wrong, then it gets harder on you. Your body goes 'out of order' (disorder). It's like throwing a wrench into the works.
So the anwer to your question is: almost everyting that you eat is bad for your body, like the wrench. For example: Dairy products. Calfs need milk until they get old enough, then they stop. So do all other mammals that drink milk. Once they get old enough, they stop taking milk. It is baby food, never intended for consumption by non-babies. But an industry grew up selling us on dairy products because they make billions of dollars. So people eat and drink dairy, and it clashes with our complex systems, now we have a wrench in the works.
Pork is another one. Have you ever wondered why all pork products have to be smoked or cured in salt? Because you couldn't stand them if they werent. Pigs are not like cattle, they eat garbage. They are nature's garbage disposals. They're good and noble animals, but they were never meant to be consumed by people. Even if they are only fed corn and grain, their flesh is completely different from clean animals, and is horrible to a person's health.
Wheat is another one. Only recently in our history have people eaten wheat. Until the last couple hundred years or so bread and such used to be made from other grains that have nutrition.
I could go on and on. Here's a tip. Cut out Wheat, Dairy, Pork and shellfish, sugar, and all chemicals from what you eat (which leaves fruits, veggies, other grains, etc) and you'll be amazed at how suddenly you'll lose fat like water and feel great. For the first time, everything you eat will be good for you instead of bad for you.
2500 years ago, Hippocrates, the father of nutrition and medicine, laid out the following 10 rules, which have been largely ignored by the medical profession:
1. The natural way is the only way.
2. Treat the cause of an illness, not the symptom.
3. Look to the spine for illnesses.
4. Throw away your drugs and heal the people with food.
5. Most illnesses can be prevented by eating natural foods.
6. A healthy colon is essential.
7. Do not administer dangerous and harmful drugs.
8. Do no harm to your patients.
9. Do not perform surgery for money.
10. The word protein means most important.
SUCCESS!

I hope you are not correct. The best way is to live your life in moderation and live peacefully with others. don't over-do anything and you can enjoy your life very much. Life spans now days are much longer than they used to be. diseases have been wiped out and new medications are invented every day for diseases that still trouble us.
Have a positive attitude and you can find a happy life.
;-D Don't sweat it until you are hot enough to sweat.
