Don't fall in love. Rise in love instead! That's what your noble profession calls for. Don't you think that it is students who should fall in love with you for your teaching and good example?

I think it's normal for teachers to fall for students, just as students fall for teachers. But you must remember that you are a teacher, a role model for the students. You have to set a good example for them, even if it means sacrificing a chance at love (this is disregarding the fact that you are married)
Professionalism is the way to go. As long as the student teacher relationship persists, you must control yourself, tone down on the flirting.
After the student graduates, it's up to you to decide whether you should risk (to put it not so subtly) wrecking your marriage and ruining your child's life by eloping with this student.

You may; then, you may
Look back and remember the innocent faces that loved you for the hero you were.
Look back and see the disbelief of your students' family, horrified that a monster has touched their precious child.
Look back and see your sweet wife's heart shattered and broken with disgrace.
You will look back and wonder what it would have been like to look your child square in the eyes and say "I love you with all my heart".
You will be unable to forget your mom and dad's face as the tears wet their cheeks.
Neighbors, friends, the postman, the school secretary whispering, "I can't believe he would do this?" "What was he thinking?"
You are falling alright, falling into sin, falling into disgrace, falling into a life you will wish didn't exist.
And someone is laughing all the way to the bank...another fool has been born!

I'm pretty sure if he's a lecturer, he's not teaching 7 year olds! Come on people!!
It's still wrong though if you're married and have a kid...if you are thinking of making a move, at least have the decency to break it off with your wife first.
And I pray your student is at least 18!!

well sir I personally think it would be a mistake coz just last week a similar thing had happened in my city and the poor lecturer was beaten up badly by other students and then grease was rubbed all over his face, head shaved and also mustaches half shaved then he was made to walk around the whole campus in underpants. But this is india maybe its not this way over their but u need to think coz u have a lot to loose and not much to gain

on a lot of counts, it is wrong. first, you are married. second, you have an innocent child who becomes a victim. third, your student is probably a minor, probably going to school for an education, and probably is not looking to hook up with a married teacher. i could lecture more but i made my point!

Save yourself the trouble unless you want to be on the nightly news for being a pedophile like the other teachers.
Seriously, consider your future. It's not love, it's just that he's paying attention to you more than your hubby.

I think you are fed up with working where ever you are, with your wife and child and want to get ostracized from the teaching profession and want to become a homeless person on the street where no one will know you.... how close am I???
