Ain't gonna happen. There will always be some problem or other that will require attention if the race is to survive and flourish. H. Sapiens has survived so far on its ability to cope with problems which have rendered many other species extinct. With intelligence and perhaps just a bit of luck, we may continue to do so.

We can never advance to that point as long as we are fleshy humans. Even if we can prevent ourselves from those events, we still have rules we must follow as living beings. If we don't eat, we will die, if we don't sleep for a certain amount of time, we will die, heck, if we don't breath a balance amount of oxygen, we will die. So the point is, extinction will always be a possibilities for us, we are just too imperfect.

Extinction can come at any time. The nature is NOT growing us as ripe tomatoes so that we will be picked when we are ripe.

We can stop worrying right now.

We will be extinct one day - its inevitable. Nothing is forever.

So why worry?
