I get really depressed and lately I find when I am depressed I lash out at other people like my husband, or my mom and bubba. I know this is because my marriage is in shambles but is lashing out at others a normal sign of depression?

yes, it absolutely is. When you're depressed you don't have the same capacity for frustration that you normally would, which can result in anger, especially in an already overwhelming situation, which it sounds like you're dealing with.

yes lashing out at those you love or are the closest to you is a common sign of depression I Know this because I have suffered from manic depression for years and until recently had no way of knowing how to control it .I had to seek medical help and now all is fine and calm in my life again so please for the sake of your marriage and children seek some professional help and get your life back on track.

yes it could be. u maybe just taking out yoUr frustration on them. By the way if yoUr marriage is in shambles then I suggest that u try to do something about it soon or it will just get worse if u don't do anything about it . Trust me I know from exp.
