rape has nothing to do with what someone is wearing

Absolutely not!
Rape is not a crime that is committed "in the moment". Most rapes are planned and plotted. Something "they" look forward to carrying out.
Date Rape is altogether different, whereas, that is usually a crime "of the moment".
The skimpy clothing myth is used an excuse to discourage women from dressing in ways that do not conform to societies "norm". Although, it can bring about un-wanted attention, it has rarely if ever been the reason for a rape.

I do not believe there is anything cut and dried about this. Surely a girl with skimpy cloth ( especially if she is very well endowed) will arouse, but feelings should be kept under control. I guess you must have a mating session involving a chicken and an hen. Imagine what the world would be like if men and women were created to mate like that.

No, she may by dressing provocatively, slightly increase her chances of being targeted but someone that dresses conservatively can be raped as well. Regardless of dress, being aware of your surroundings, reducing the time you are out and about alone, and at night time, are the best factors you can easily help yourself.

Either way how the woman is dressed does not excuse the crime. True rape (I have mixed feelings on so-called date rape) is one of the most vulgar crimes, second only to child molestation in my book and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

No, clothing has nothing to do with rape. I've heard of fully clothed women all over the world getting rape. Rape is never the victims fault.

No. I hope not. She has a right to wear what she wants without fear of recrimination, don't you agree?
