Nowadays everyone wants to become some kinda celebrity. As for you, what is more important for you? Your name to be known or your face to be known? I try to explain it to you with my example. For me it's more important to people know my name and to see my name written down as I'd love to become a writer and a literary critic. So I'm totally disinterested in people knowing me in person and being invited to talkshows and things like that. I want my art to be published and maybe appreciated but I don't care about appearing on tv. So the question is, how about you? What's more important for you?

I prefer neither my face NOR my name to become "famous" but I would like my professional life to be a "noted" one.

I have a big family and we like to play the lottery. I am always the cautious one to warn the others away from the fame that would come from becoming suddenly rich. It would overwhelm me.

I like it when my business gets some notoriety and I'd like to have a logo that becomes a statement/standard of good quality and service.

Also, I would like to invent a word or coin a phrase that makes it into a standard or professional dictionary. I wouldn't mind my name being associated with the word, per se, but only professionals and students would search that far into the history of the word to notice who invented it or coined it.

My grave-stone should be simple ......with simply my initials on it.....in 3" letters.

To be known by friends and AS a friend is what I seek.

I'd like to be famous like Sokrates, King Henry VIII, Joan of Arc, Hitler, Rasputin, Jesus, Shakespear and Albert Einstein. That is to say I would like a lasting historical fame rather than the kind of fame Jordan or Wayne Rooney has where every idiot knows who they are but nobody will remember them in 200 years.
If I did get a kind of transitory fame then I would prefer it to be an adoration amogst a specific group rather than a mass fame without any real passion, if you see what I mean, that is to say that I would like to be more of a cult figure rather than a general celebrity.

I'd rather have my name known than my face. I think it must be terrible being a celebrity when today's world is so obssessed with them. At least if you're an author you can have the cash as well as the freedom to be yourself.

I take a certain amount of pride in the work I produce - I'm a multimedia designer - and appreciate acknowledgement for my efforts. It is useful having your name known as that is how other work arises. Otherwise I'm happy to just pootle away in the background.

Modern, Western society is heavily concentrated on self-esteem. Most everybody wants to be a celebrity, everybody thinks they are so great, everybody is materialistic. What they do not emphasise in Western society is cooperation. Everybody seems to be so competitive and self-centred. I believe it is more important to be recognised based on true merit, not on superficial elements. Success, most often, results from cooperation and selflessness.

I'd hate to have a well known face. Wouldn't it be weird if everyone recognized you everywhere you went? Pick your nose once and it's on the cover of the Enquirer? No thanks.

i want to contribute something to the world before i die, i am not sure of the best gifts i have and how it could make a difference,
I AM NOT TALENTED, I CAN'T SING, AND I CAN'T DANCE, AND I CAN NOT EVEN DRAW A SNOWMAN, I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE GREATEST CHARACTERISTIC IN ME IS..AND WHAT TO DO WITH IT,BUT IT IS IMPORTAND FOR ME TO GIVE BACK TO THE WORLD, AND BE THANKFUL TO GOD FOR ALL THE GOOD THINGS THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED,

I WANT MY SON TO REMEMBER ME AS SOMETHING GREAT, BUT I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT IS,, IT IS IMPORTAND FOR ME TO BE KIND, AND NOT SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE JUST EXISTING,,

I DO KNOW ONE THING, WHEN I GET TO HEAVEN I AM GOING TO BE A "ROCKSTAR, A GREAT SINGER, AND LEAD SINGER IN A CHORUS WITH ANGELS" that is important to me,,

good luck to you too
