Say, "Hi." And remember, you can have anything you want in life if you are willing to help someone get what they want first. Most people like attention. So, engage the young lady by asking her questions. Such things as, "Hi, I'm pretty new around here. Could you tell me where everyone hangs out?" Or, "Hi, I noticed your perfume, it's very nice. I know my sister would like it? Where did you get it?" Sounds a little corny, but let the other person know that you value their opinion. Breaking the ice is not nearly so hard, if you do not worry about the results. There are literally billions of girls in the world. You have nothing to lose. And, you don't need luck. You need to have persistence.

Same way you'd talk to anyone else. Girls aren't a different species.
Try saying "hi" and asking her how's she's doing.
