Is it because we are born with a genetic blocker that stop us from using our full brain potential or is it because we can't handle such an enormous task?

both, the genetic structure has evolved over centuries to make life better. if you could use 100%, you will be superhuman and you can do telepathy and telekinesis easily.

The idea that humans only use 10% of their brain is a complete myth, which has been disproven time and time again. For any given activity, such as eating, watching television, answering questions in Y!A, or reading, you may use a few specific parts of your brain. But over the course of a whole day, just about all of the brain is used at one time or another. And, many very dibilitating effects arise when much less than 90% of the brain is rendered damaged or inoperable, such as during a stroke or by disabilities such as Parkinson's.

There's no scientific basis for this claim. It's just a myth that people toss about, hoping it means that you can tap into the rest to achieve wonderful things.

Think of it from an evolutionary perspective: what would be the benefit of evolving a brain that's 90% unutilized?

Or from a medical perspective: do you think you'd be okay if 90% of your brain was removed? What if just 1% was removed?

This is an urban myth. We actually use most of our brain power. I *guess* that this legend started from the fact that neurons only account for 10% of the cells in the brain. The other 90% are support cells for the neurons and are not involved in thinking, etc.

Cause they don't gain that much knowledge from the 1/10 of the brain to use the rest of it efficiently.

we won't be able to commence evolving. Evolution purely works if there is decision, and for this to take position the sensible people using that more suitable one million% of their mind should be able to breed speedier than their dumb opposite numbers. go searching you, is there any information that dumb people are not breeding? Plus, if you're that a lot smarter you in all likelihood keep in mind that the international is overpopulated and also you reduce lower back on your breeding.

I think that God made humans sooooooooooo smart that he made humans only able to use part of their brain and get a longer life. That's because there is a peak when all civilizations get so intelligent that they wipe out them selves.
