How do you organize the clothes in your closets?

1) spaghetti strap tanks
2) regular tanks
3) baby doll T's
4) regular T's
5) polo T's
6) long sleeve T's
7) zip up sweatshirts
8) zip up sweatshirts w/ hoods
9) pull over sweatshirts
10) pull over sweatshirts w/ hoods
11) jackets
12) coats

all in color order from lightest to darkest.

jeans, skirts, shorts, pj's, bathing suits,sweaters, etc. have their own drawers.

shoes are in order by color and style.

belts are on a belt hanger

scarves are on one hanger

purses are on the shelf by color and appropriate season they should be carried.

under the bed (in a storage container) are seasonal clothes (like shirts w/ hearts for V. day or Old Navy 4th of July shirts)

Are they supposed to be organized? Try just putting shirts to the left and pants to the right. It works for me.

i put all the clothes that i wear most in the front and then it goes down from casual every day wear to more fancy & expensive clothes in the back. & i use shelves for bags and accesories :)

alphabetically by color :)

kidding - I use the clean/dirty system - the clean clothes go in the closet regardless and the dirty clothed in the bathroom

Pants together, tops together, jackets and sweaters together, dresses at the side, shoes at the bottom, belts on a hook on the wall.

clothes - by type. next to tees are collared tees, then jackets, then dresses, then coats, etc
shuz - by type (flats, pumps, heels, sneakers, etc)
belts - on hook
bags - on hook (except clutches)
accessories - in a pretty box (by type: bangles, earrings, chokers, rings, etc)
