OK. This one has me hoppin' a bit. There's a girl in work. Very nice, Very attractive and I'm almost sure she likes me (who can be certain). Now... when we banter away whilst working.. the craic is great and we really get along well. We can kinda bounce of each other... She ain't like this with any other guy in the place. But... and I mean BUT.. when we're in a situation where the emphasis is on conversation.... dIfferent matter altogether. Its more akward... Actually painfully so... Long silences and really crappy and nervous conversation from both sides My question... Is it like this because we're into each other or could it be something far more sinister!!!... lol
A would dearly love some guidance on this issue.

Its sexual tension between you and this girl, she probably finds it as difficult as you do.
You should ask her out for a drink after work with a few work friends so as not to let yourself in for a fall should she say no. (you get to say that she is turning the group down instead of you)
If she says yes you get the chance to talk to her and if things go well you can slip away from the group to have a quiet talk with her, if things dont go well then you have your work friends to talk to.
Try to be natural and enjoy the moment, if you try to force conversation onto her then she will push her away from you.
Dont be sleezy and try to be all over her all night, You have to remember that there is a chance that she doesnt think of you in that way, you dont want to ruin a friendship.
Remember that this is the first step, to seeing if she likes you, if things dont go to plan you can always try again.

W@ intentions do you have? Go ahead and ask her if she is dating anyone. If not give her a few reasons why you should date and assurance that she would learn more reasons as you date.

i think you guys are so attracted to eachother that it creates tension when things get serious...banter is easy to hide behind but connecting (or trying to and failing) is too much pressure
