YOU PEOPLE IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME ZIDANE DOES THIS THING(headbuting a player),IT'S NOT FAIR TO FIND HIM EXCUSES!!!
We don't know what Materazzi told to Zidane, these are just speculations.Materazzi talked to the media, denied that he called him a terrorist, but Zidane didn't talk to the press...So who's to blame?Zidane can't face the media because he can't explain what he did.!!!
How can we explain to our children that a man who acted like that get's an award(GOLDEN BALL) too?Is this the world we want our children to live in?
Violence has nothing to do with football!!!

hate him. he's sucha baby. Way to be a leader and take your team all the way to the championship just to lose it for them because you have the temper of a four year old. he might be extremely good at soccer, one of the bests, but seriously should a person who gets red carded for striking another player and then kicked out be rewarded. ps headbutting someone is straight up lame in the us we would just punch someone in the face he needs to grow up and maybe not try to blame his childishness on everyone else and i hope materazzi calls him that again.

We should love Zidane. I ain't a France fan, but I'm certain that
he was the one who helped France reaching the 2nd in the
world, just as 1998 & 2000.

he was possibly my favorite before and still is, materazzi almost certainly deserved that headbutt, its a shame he didnt get him right in the teeth though.

He was the best player of the world, he is a good guy and I understand his reaction.

But Materazzi is not really welcome in France

i am a big fan of his skills, however having said that, how do all you people justify loving a man who acted like a thug??? are all of you thugs as well? Did the saudi in 1998 call him a terrorist as well? zidane shamed himself, shamed his country & shamed his team & all of you that say the italian player deserved it are just plainly & simply out of your minds!

HATED HIM BEFORE THE HEADBUTT...HATE HIM EVEN MORE WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT MY SUSPICIONS WERE TRUE..

HE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE

IN WORLD CUP 98 IN FRANCE HE STOMPED ON A SAUDI'S LEG (DID THE SAUDI CALL HIM A TERRORIST TOO?)

IN 2001 DURING CLUB CHAMPS HE HEADBUTTED A GUY FROM HAMBURG WHILE PLAYING FOR JUVENTUS
