A psychologist once told me there is nothing wrong with that and she does it often. She reccomends hotels.

as a person who works the desk at a hotel, this is very common, and the locals will visit the guests at the hotel, rather than have them in their home at all

I prefer to stay at a hotel if possible, I just can't sleep right in other people's houses. I don't hate houseguests in general, just a few in particular.

I can't stand having guests over, but my mother won't let them stay at a hotel. She insists they are like "family"!!! It's like that are trying to drive me crazy! They drive me to drink!!!

I built a guest house on my property to keep guests OUT OF MY HOUSE. To answer your question; YES!!!!

depends on how long they want to stay and if I know them well enough to trust them in my home if I am not there

I HAVE to go to work.
I did visit them there.
I would have rather stayed there. It was nice.
