What very last episode? Is it episode 111, where he left Konoha with the Sound Four?

When he left Konoha, Sakon told him that Orochimaru said he must die once. He drinked a pill that will take him to level two of his cursed seal, but will cause him to die. But the sound four sealed him in a barrel to negate the side effects of the pill.
If that episode you are talking about, but I'm not really sure that he dies.

If it isn't, the answer is no.

I haven't heard anything about Naruto ending . . . It is still ongoing in Japan, both as the anime and as the manga. But technically, Sasuke has died and come back to life twice already. Once during the fight with Haku and then when he took the pill of Ochimaru's.
