Shes been doing alot for me latlely, like leaving me little notes. Calling me at work just to see how Im doing. We've been talking on the phone for a long time and sometimes we talk in the parking lot for hours after work. It's getting more and more lately, mostly initiated by her because Im so cautious not to overstep my boundries. Sometimes she writes me txt messages out of the blue, shes always suprising me. Latley shes been touching me more, like grabbing my hand to lead me places, or playfully touching me. If anything, Im enjoyng the company, we always have gotten along good, but things really have been more and more. Part of my problem is I think Im emotionally closed off a little, and I dont think I show enough appreaciation. Like I love it when she does these things, it makes me feel like someones looking out for me. I want to know what I should do to show her how much I appreciate her, so what can I do?

How about simply telling her, "I really do appreciate you!" (Looking her in the eye when you say it & being really sincere goes a looooooong way.)

You tell them, you take them out to dinner or a movie, you can send them roses, Basically you can show someone without even spending money on them, and the reason you are shutting her out is because you have feelings for her and you are scared that you will get hurt by her if you let your wall down, And also seems like you have been hurt before and thats why you are so guarded with your heart.

Tell her how you feel. She seems to like you a lot and the worst thing you could do is hurt her feelings. Maybe she's waiting on you to tell her that you like her and appreciate the things she's done for you. Sometimes the smallest things you say to a person can make a big difference in their life.

Show her that you appreciate the gestures and give her back the same warm feelings she is giving to you, she is looking out for you and is wanting you to do the same. It sounds like a great start to me, I hope you're picking out china patterns and other stuff together in the future and that your fondness for each other grows! Good luck and happy turtle doving!

Telling her how you feel would work.....but if you want to do something for her get her some flowers , take her out for a romantic dinner use your imagination, from what you said nothing that you do is going to hurt your relationship because she is obviously attracted to you and enjoys your company

Sounds to me like she LIKES YOU. Ever concidered that? Being emotionally unavailable sucks. Do you think you could work through your feelings? Do you like her too? And the best way to show appreciation if your closed off is to say thanks. Offer to buy her coffee sometime..or something like that.
