I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I don't think I would like to see JK Rowling write another series after this one. I feel I've invested so much time already to her characters. Not sure if I could "get into" another group by her. Additionally, I know it took her years to come up with the ideas for the HP books. I don't know if she has another series tucked away somewhere else. Considering the way I felt after finishing the last two books, I don't know if I'll want to read anything by her after this next one. She's already said that two characters die in this last book. I pray that one of them is Snape. I actually cried after what he did in Half Blood Prince. My dad was staying with me, because he had lung surgery earlier, and he laughed at me for crying. Anyway, no, I wouldn't want her to write a new series. Just my opinion.

I think that she should continue writing, but I don't think anything will be great as Harry. The Harry Potter series is something that kids (and even adults) will continue to read for centuries to come. I love Harry Potter and I'll probably die a huge Harry Potter fan, but J.K. Rowling is a creative genius. She brainwashed the world with her tales of the fantastic and has made more than the Queen of England, so anything after the 7th will be great, but won't come close to the impact Harry Potter has had on the world.

I'm hooked on the HP series but I'm very discouraged by the last interview she gave. Talking about killing off Harry just so no one could ever write another book about him. That's so stupid. I feel like all the time I've put into reading these books will have been a waste if Harry gets killed.
If she ever wrote another series again, I won't get drawn into it until after it is completed. I get tired of waiting years between books.

YES! Oh my gosh she is a great writer. I am so in love with Harry potter, I'm not obsessed though, in love. I think if Harry lives in the seventh book she should start a new series that's about what they'd be like now. It started in 1991, when they were eleven (I figured it out from the second book when Nearly Headless Nick is inviting the tro to his deathday) so now they'd be like twenty six and it'd be really cool to see if they got married had kids and what jobs they have! Wouldn't you think so?

No. I would be happy if she would just leave it at the 7th book and be done with it all. If she did write a new series. . .it would feel somehow as if she were taking away from the Harry Potter series (sounds funny, but just my opinion)!

Only if she wants to, most great fantasy writers that attempted to continue or recap their work only managed to disappoint the fans of their work, If she does write some thing more it should be a different thing altogether. Not related to the Potter fantasies or to "magic", anything else. Potter will be a classic.

I want her to... I want to know what is going to happen... will Harry die or will Voldemort die or someone else... is there a website with an update???
I think JK probably will write other books, but not about Harry... but it might be hard for her to break away.

It depends on which main characters she kills off. You can't have anymore Harry Potters without Harry.
