my pc memory runs ddr400 at 200mhz. my computer spec. is athlon 64 3000+, mobo asrock k8-nf4 upgrade. i have one 1 gig. kingstone ddr 400.

there is a tone of website that give u the details of overclocking anything, i would advise reading these as much as possible
also remember this GET THE BEST COOLING U CAN AFFORD!, reason most people just buy the standard cooling and then do overclocking and the parts just get so warm they burn out.

No, not really. You'd be much better off just removing the stick of PC 2700. I've seen a couple of people bragging about running their PC 2700 (166 Mhz) RAM at 200 Mhz, but if they were, they were running it at 3-4-4-8 timings. You'd be faster with one stick of what you have now, than you'd be if you added any amount of PC 2700 to your system.

BTW, adding RAM doesn't help any at all, unless you have less than 1GB. A few months ago, I changed from 2x512MB sticks to 2x1GB sticks (I'm a gamer), and was extremely disappointed. I wish I had that $200 back now!
