I've just started using lipstick - Biotherm Aquatic Shine. However, i do have dry lips. Any lip moisturizer or lip stick to prevent lips from cracking? All along i'm using Lip Ice moisturizer.

Burt's Bees is just OK. A lot of their lip products have peppermint oil...don't use anything with this in it, it is a skin irritant. As boring and un-glamorous as it is, gently exfoliate lips with a damp washcloth before bed, then use Vaseline on your lips while you're sleeping. You can also use a thin coat under your lipstick. It works far better than any of the more expensive lip moisturizers I've used.

Lip Ice does not work at all. All it does is make your lips feel icy and minty. Burt's Bees work all the time and is good for applying before lip colour. I'm from Singapore too and if you're interested to get Burt's Bee's, you can email me and I'll help you get one. My email is the same with my yahoo id, just add @yahoo.com at the back.

Some of the lip plumpers use a formula that attracts moisture to the lips. I have found that those formulas are far better at healing and moisturizing the lips FAST, than any wax or oil based lip product. The idea being that if your lips are nice and moist, they will also appear plumper- kind of like your kitchen sponge. When it's dried out- it's misshapen and hideous- fill it with water and voila- it looks like new. Two of my favorites are LIPLIFT from GALE HAYMAN:
http://www.galehayman.com/products/10600.html
and LIPLASTIC from COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL
http://www.colormebeautiful.com/makeup/lips/liplastic.htm
BEWARE of the lipplumping products like LIP VENOM which actually cause a mini-allergic reaction and literally sting and cause the lips to swell- these obviously work in a different way to plump the lips.

Sometimes I use Vaseline on my lips, and that keeps them really smooth. You could also try using Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer instead of lipstick because that acts as lip moisturizer as well as color.

BB is totally correct. Apply Vaseline or chap-stick to your lips after you wash your face before bed. When you reapply lip products during the day, use moisturizing products. As they wear off, do not reapply over the remaining product. Dab it off with cool water and then apply more moisturizing lipstick. Those long wear lipsticks are drying so avoid them.

ive heard good raves about kiehls but since i still havent tried it yet, i would have to say that the best lip moisturizer for me is MAC. it comes in a white pot. you can also buy it in tinted colors so you'll have a hint of color. from all the lip balms/moisturizers ive tried, its the only one that works. it lasted for HOURS. i applied it when i slept and when i woke up, its still on, and then my lips would be soft for the whole day, for sure. the pot is bigger than the normal lip balm so it'll last long. truly worth it! it smells (and tastes) great, too, kinda like vanilla frosting :) if you want a lipstick thats moisturizing, too. then go for elizabeth arden 8 hour cream lipstick :)

Burts Bee's Bees wax lip balm. It comes in tinted colors or just plain clear. You can find it at almost all Wal-Marts or Bath & Bodyworks.

Burt's Bees is in Tower Records and I've also seen it at Longs Drugs. I live in California, however.
