Man, you are so wrong.
Israel is invading the West Bank because the Palestinian terrorists kidnapped one of their soldiers. If they would return the soldier, the incursion would end. If they would stop terrorizing the Israeli's with rocket attacks, the cease fire would have a chance to work.
The USA and UK are in Iraq because they cannot leave until the Iraqi government is strong enough to secure the country from Islamic extremist. Once that happens, the coalition forces will leave. Unfortunately ignorant muslims continue to attack the US and UK forces trying to destabilize the government.
The insurgency wants the coalition forces to leave, however, the more they attack, the longer the US and UK will stay. If they would end their insurgency, the US and UK military forces would leave much sooner.
The simple fact is that the US, UK, and Israel are powerful enough to wipe all of Palestine, Iraq, and Iran off the face of the Earth in a single day if they wanted to. They choose not to because they do not want them destroyed.

Vappy,
Dont get dragged into the stories that anyone puts about. Believe that in the end, people dont want to kill other people and that those that do say "lets not do this" will in the end have the strongest voice.
When I was younger the IRA used to place bombs around the UK and kill innocent people in the name of a political freedom that they really didnt need for a standard of life that would be the dream of many in the world.
At that time most of there money for weapons and bombs came from the USA, our supposed allies. It was never stopped by the american govt as the irish americans were a strong voting block.
But in the end, the good people of Northern Ireland said, thats enough.
I cant hate all the Northern Irish because people were killed. Those that did it were a power hungry minority who only held what little power they had through fear.
I cant hate all americans for the money that came to the uk, but I can hope that those that did put a few dollars in a box will one day come and put flowers on the graves of children that died, or at least have the decency to feel shame for their part in it.
Everyone has to not listen to the storys that come out of these war zones, we hear bad ones about the treatment of our troops, we must believe that this bad treatment is done by the miinority and is not down to most of the people. You hear stories of rape by western troops that you must not believe, if these things were to happen the Western press would put it on every front page and condemn those involved.
Some think it is bad that the reporting press are everywhere. I dont, I think it's great. They will report what they see.
I dont believe, that we should have got involved, whatever Saddam was, he was at least a controlling force, and he would not live forever, in the end like all of us he would have died and the country would have moved on itself.
But now that we did get involved we have to stick it out to the end. Those people that are wanting to do things right must be given the support that they need.
The only other choice, is to put another Saddam back in control to run the country by the gun.

far back in history it is interesting to find that there was a time when Muslims, Jews and Christians could worship in the same temples however this like all good thing had to end and deteriorate into the divide we know of today. When Russians occupied Afghanistan who was it that America trained, armed, and promised to help rebuild after the Russians were removed? Osama bin laden and the Al-qaida rebels, it is true however most Americans that remember the occupation don't remember that point. Now do not get me wrong I am not condoning what the al-qaida has done I am just saying that I am not surprised. think about how many people have been put to death in the name of the Christan god, its like the crusades all over again, Christan's just cannot leave that part of the world alone. in my opinion there is no justifying believe in my faith or die, what kind of god no matter what religion it is based on wants that?if a god that has created everything does he really need us to "purify" the world?? anyway this is just my opinion...

The war in Iraq and Afghanistan were not the best moves made. And Hitler was not a Christian, he was part of the Occult. However other Religions of the world have moved on with the times and look to get along with each other. Islam has not done this. It refuses to become more tolerant and recognise other religions. The media have made jokes about all other religions with the people taking it in the spirit, as a joke and not getting all upity and offended. This does little for the islamic world.
People then mis-understand muslims because they also do not intigrate with the rest of society much they way Jews did before Nazi Germany.
Until muslims are prephared to join in with the rest of communities of the world, become a bit more tolerant and modern the world will continue to mis-trust them. It will only take a few more terrorist attacks for civilians to fully turn against muslims. Civilians dont really care what religion u are aslong as u are invloved in the community - look at sikh's. harming civilians does nothing but turn the populace against the attackers. The people to attack (but not advicating)are the decistion makers - the politicians if they want to change anything!
My best mate is a muslim. He goes to prayers, respects Ramadam etc but he joins in. he does not drink but he still comes to the pub after work. But then the muslims that go to the mosque in finsbury where i live keep themselves to themselves and dont join in with the local community. If i went to live in pakistan, syria or saudi Arabia i would respect the countries values and cultures and participate as much as possible. In USA and UK muslims dont do this and shun the countries they have moved to and demand special treatment which angers the local populace as it would if the situation reversed.
The world does not hate Islam, islam hates itself. It klings on to outdated notions of "Holy Wars" and any one who is not muslim is an infidal and should be killed. The World does not care who or how you worship just you respect and be part of society.....

The problem with the muslims as a people is that they want the world to change for them and not they for the world. They think they own god or alllah only looks to a muslim as his son/daughter and every body else is a non believer.
Hello wake up and smell the earth.
The world has been fighting Islam from the day it suddenly came to mohammed. Why would that be. So the WHOLE EFFING world is wrong but not the Muslims??? thats what gets my goat. They are two faced. You can never trust a muslim.they will say one thing and do another.
Just like in Britain. Most of them say they are sorry about the bombings but privately they will all tell you that the British deserved it

The majority of the people of Britain are against the war and always have been. The government does not listen to the people and does what it wants. Sadly in this day and age the function of the government is to rule over the people like a medieval king rather than serve the people as a repesentation of their views and beliefs.
The reason why Hiter's Nazi party is not historically considered a terrorist movement is because Hitler's government was secular and was separate fro the church. Hitler's racism was based upon nationality and ethnicity rather than religion - for example he hated the Jewish people because of their physical characteristics not the religion of Jewdaism. Usually Islamic terrorist groups specicically claim to be acting in the name of Allah and thus show Islam in a bad light. A Christian equivalent would be the crusades of the medieval period.

Your comments would have more meaning if you didn't believe that the Qu'ran was literally true. Do you disavow terrorism? Do you condemn them and their acts?
Have you read the Qu'ran? Look at the following passages from the various holy texts of your own religion, a religion that STILL believes in the literal truth of every word of those texts, and tell me we should relax and feel safe around ANY person who follows Islam. Remember, these are Allah's and Muhammed's own words, and should be looked up in a PRE-911 copy of the Qu'ran.
The reason? I've noted some minor changes in the "unchangeable Qu'ran". For instance, why is it that "Islam" now means "Peace", when at the time my family fled Islam it was "Islam means submission to Allah?"
Go to the link below and read about some of the wonderful things Islam prides itself on.
I WANT Islam to survive, but before it does, Muslim's must stand up as a group to condemn the terrorists, not stand in the street and shout "Death to the West!", and will have to go through a reformation where it's religion and government are seperate, and will have to cease believing in the absolute literal truth of it's holy texts, as most major religions have.
Until then, we're facing people who MUST, by the command of their own holy texts, convert, enslave, or kill everyone else.
Sorry, I don't trust you. Many people I know saw this coming back in the 1950's and wondered when the rest of the world would wake up.
Look at the quotes at the site below, and no sane person could NOT be scared of Islamic goals.

Islam and Muslim people are a world sickness. They are like a cancer on this planet because they can't coexist with others. Their goal is world domination. Muslims cannot even seem to coexist with other muslims, as evidence in Darfur and Iraq suggests. Different factions are murdering each other everyday, while the ignoramouses of the world ignore the fact.
Muslims are attacking all over the world in places like: Thailand, Philippines, Africa, Europe, Australia, Indonesia, and the USA. Suicide bombs go off in Iraq and Israel. Bombs go off in several Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia. All commited by muslims.

Bush and Blair represent Western capitalism. They crave oil and security. At this time, Muslims are being made to suffer, by the puppets of Israel. All capitalism is appalling. This includes UK, USA, Israel, PLO, and all the lot. Arab capitalism will not assist povrty stricken Palestinians.
And Blair's ideological war on Islam , well it serves to keep English folks suspicious of, and hostile to, Muslims. A snappy way of dividing the workers in UK right now.

The U.S. went into Iraq because Iraq broke the sanctions put in place after the Persian Gulf War. President Bush gave Saddam 10 months to comply, Saddam did not so we went in. Simple. You can't make rules and then not do anything when they are broken. Those sanctions were agreed upon by the UN. Only the US had enough balls to do something about it.
