I can't help myself, what should I do?

I tend to mouth off alot, and because of it I get black eyes from my black husband, I can't help that I am biitchy but how can I stop mouthing off?

To me, there are two things that I would have to answer. The Bible says that power of life and death is within the tongue. It's important to be mindful of the things that we come out of our mouth However, no man should ever put his hands on a woman. If your situation is real, I would suggest that you look into counseling or a way out of the relationship. No matter how much you love this man... love should never cause you physical pain. There's a better life for you. Read Jeremiah 29:11 if you have a bible. If you don't, I'll provide a link that will allow you to read verses online.

Oh this is too easy, if you want to be a ***** you need to learn how to fight back. the next time he puts his hands on you get your vacumn cleaner and knock the sh!t out of him. My husband put his hands on me one time and one time only, I swung my hoover, cracked a couple of ribs and he never put his hands on me again. If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, either leave him or keep your mouth shut.(My husband hit every girlfriend he had ever been with before me, one he even put in the hospital, I don't play that sh!t at all, so if he wouldn't of gotten the hoover message I would have left, but since he did we have been married almost 13 years, and I am white, he is black, and all of his previous girlfriends were black too, but that don't really matter when you are getting your a$$ kicked!!!!!!)

Nothing you say gives him any reason to hit you. If he doesn't like what he hears, he can tell you about it, take a time out, or any number of other ADULT actions that don't include physical violence.
The first thing you need to do is get to a marriage counselor, with or without your husband. Any actions you take after that are up to you, but you'll be able to make better decisions after you get your head straight.

And girl it sounds like your husband has tried to justify his actions by making you think its your fault and that you're a *****, but no female 'makes' a man abuse them.

Get out. YOu may love him but love ain't always enough. You deserve better.

If you are like me (and sounds like you are) you will never do that.
You are a very independent lady that can think for herself and doesn't need a man to do it for you.
My advice: Find a husband with more brains and self esteem.
There's NOTHING wrong with you and EVERYTHING wrong with him. (If this is not a joke and if it is aaahhhhaaa good one lol)

sam you have some serious problems, and i can tell you that i mouth off too, but when you really truly love someone then you will control it enough so that it dont get out of control....you dont love your husband enough to do that and the dont love you enough to help you control it instead of hitting you......i pray that you dont have children seeing this bullsh!t cus if you do then you should have them taken away...you need to leave this man and he needs to leave you, you need to leave eachother, because it will prolly only get worst..
