A sales dude asking about honesty? that is very rich!
Some of our favourite sales people are very honest and merit return business because of honesty and service, they deliver what they promise. Scammers come and go and many only get in the door once, and leave never to return.

Spin or perception manipulation happens all of the time, it is an integral part of business and life. It is not wrong, because you are really just telling your side of the story and leaving any other sides of the story up to the other person to find. That said, a person that is a true salesperson would never pose a question like this. I believe that you are in the wrong line of work. Re-evaluate what you would like to do in life because you will struggle to be anything in this line of work and it will only bring you frustration and ulcers. Good luck.

pretty much yes, it's sad but that's how the world goes, Bill Gates had to steal over and over again before becoming the man he is today, just think of how he got the ms dos system and the graphic interface for Windows.
Just think of it this way before you feel guilty:"I'm smarter than them and that's how it goes". I know it sounds sadistic but if your ego isn't strong enough to think that way you'll never be rich.

To get rich you should not lie!
Bargaining has nothing to do with telling lies!
Trade is the most truthfull act! You sell and can sell down to this price! You buy and you can give up to this price! Honest and straight!
It is not like church, hospitals, etc., that clergy, administrators, etc. that based on your need they steel from you, of course using lies!

As consumers we need to be skeptical of products and use a variety of resources like people-whom-we knows' opinions and maybe a consumer magazine.

No, as a matter of fact you could even market honesty! I hear the supply is low and it's in demand!

Yeah you gotta lie to get rich. Anybody who tells you otherwise is already rich and shouldn't be trusted.

no you do not. If you are serious in your field of business and want to succeed, work as hard as you can and let your talents work for you. Also don't let anyone tell you that you cannot achieve success in anything.
