Is it because of lose of interest and wearing out of time?

Eternal love does exist.
Losing interest is cos there is lack of communication and individual getting busy with his or her own life.
Divorces also do happen for the materialistic reason where the basis of marriage was on certain aspects liked of the other.
Once that falls off the interest loses as well.

Only if there is unconditional love will the love exist in eternity.

Two human beings of the opposite sex CANNOT enjoy living together forever. Enjoyment is just a novelty, it wears off sooner or later. Once it does wear off, boredom sets in & either one or both of the spouses try to figure out a way to recapture the enjoyment they used to have in the beginning - and usually, they end up having a love affair with another person. This the major reason for the divorces happening today.

Eternal love still exists! The reason there are so many divorces is because people figured out they don't need to be miserable and married - life's too short to be unhappy for even 1 year!!

But the marriages that do last are the ones whose love is strong, perhaps even eternal!!

Aloha!!

I think there's eternal love it's just that in this day and age, people are in such a hurry to do everything and in that limited time that they set; they want it all, I mean, they want everything too. Think of it like cooking...you have 5 dishes to make, you need to get it done by 6 but you start cooking at 4...most probably it will turn into chaos because you forgot to check that 1 or 2 of your dishes require a certain amount of time and some special handling etc...like making souffle or something like that...anyways, by 5:30, you have nothing done, what is done is a total mess and the dishes didn't come out right so you end up throwing everything away and ordering take-out. What a stressful consumption of time....back to the point, like I said so many people are in such a hurry to do eveything and expect to get everything as they want it to be or imagine it to be, at the same time. There are those who can do it and I give them a trillion thumbs up but at the end of the day are they really happy...maybe, maybe not. But my point is when you hurry into something, most of the times it comes out wrong because, if you hurry, most likely you are hoping. Then when it doesn't turn out as you hoped it would, then it's done with...I believe that 2 people need to explore one another, learn, understand and accept eachother's differences in order for a relationship to last for however long, time takes them...otherwise if you don't like what you see and learnt in the first phase then move on. But when you have something (or meet someone) great, the interest you have in that something lasts a lifetime...I guess some people just have to slowly open the treasure box (remember being a kid and opening b-day presents?) and patiently find out piece by piece what is inside... not just like BAM, open box, WOW cool stuff, OOH fun, YES register as mine, AHH still fun, AWW bored....NEXT!!!

YES, eternal love does still exist! i know cause i have the love of my life as a husband right now!! why so many divorces? Selfishness, nobody wants to compromise, or give in, the world is all about self satisfaction.."whatever makes YOU happy" is the society we live in today, as soon as somebody disagrees with "your way" they're leaving you, giving up, throwing in the towel, whats a little more paperwork? sad but true, (metallica),,
but true ,eternal love does exist , good luck!

Because people in our fast-paced society want a quick and easy way out of having to deal with problems. Nobody want to take the time to COMMUNICATE and work on their problems.

Marriage takes LOVE, but it also takes a lot of hard work to make things work between the two individuals. Things go wrong.... there's no communication...they get worse and worse until it's easier to just leave.

It's for BETTER and for WORSE. People want just the BETTER part and when they get to the WORSE part they bail.

Of course it exists. But sometimes it's easier, cheaper, or just fits better into our schedule to "postpone" eternal love.
