my best friend needs advice she caught her boyfriend having sex with her father in a very compromising position what should she do should she break all ties with her father or move on and forgive and forget. i dont know which one to tell her.

that is both sick and wrong....she should prolly not talk to either of them for a while and the bf never again...

First, I hope she dumped her boyfriend. If not, do so now!!!
With respects to her dad......I think she needs to just not be around him for right now. I'm sure your friend is going through so much right now: feeling hurt, betrayed, confused, upset, maybe even a little disgusted. She needs to let herself feel all of these things.
The worst part isn't so much that her boyfriend cheated on her. Boyfriends come and go. It's the betrayl of her father that is so disturbing. I wouldn't say abandon all ties with her father, but just to step back from the situation. She shouldn't do anything right now. Her dad needs to apologize for the hurt he has caused her and needs to ask her for her forgiveness.
I really hope in time things work out for your friend.

Well firstly she should dump her boyfriend? Without knowing how old she is or if she lives with both parents or her mother or her father it is hard to advise on that one, but I would certainly make answer for his actions. Forgiving this one is going to take a while. And I doubt she will ever forget.

she shouldn`t break all ties..but she should not trust him with any of her men....he brought her on this earth and no matter what her father did ..he will always be her dad..
i just hope she dump her boyfriend over this and never speak to him...
you know it will be hard for her to forgive her dad..but in time she will..and he probably feel he made the biggest mistake of his life by doing that especially with her man..
Just to let her know..it was not only the father fault..
It takes 2 to make it work as a family...

wow that's really shocking !! i would just die if i ever experienced that i would tell her to keep strong. to forgive and forget. but did she know that her father was like that ? if not she should go away for awhile or just take some time to recover from this horrible event. but i just hope she want in love with this guy !! or was she ? she should move on though find some other guy that's gon b faithful.

She has to talk to both and confront them. She will need to break ties with her boyfriend, and decide how to deal with her relationship with her dad and whether the damage could be mended over time. She will always only have one biological father and needs to make serious decisions about her future relationship with him.

first of all, how old is this boyfriend? If he is a minor then she has serious problems. He could be a pedophile and she needs to report this because he could go after other kids too. He is a very sick man and needs help.
