Did they run out of story lines?

Wasn't there a talk about a movie or something along those lines? I'll be honest, when it was still in season, I didn't watch it because I watched one sucky episode and said that's not for me. But then, when they started showing reruns I started watching and I got hooked.
I would love to see where they are at now. The could've done one more follow up, you know Big and Carrie and what happened with them, Charlotte and Harry and their new baby, if Samantha and Smith ever stayed together, etc. Maybe someday they'll do one of those specials. There's always hope.

I never was able to watch the show when it was HBO, but I'm catching all the reruns now late at night, and it's a really funny, smart show.
I do think that they are out of touch with the reality of how women in the REAL world live, and interact with men, but it's still cute, and I would definitely watch a sequel or movie if they made one.

I'm glad it ended the way it did, I LOVE that show so much. I really wish they'd come out with that movie, as long as the original characters were in it. I'm sure they could have come up with more storylines if they had wanted to, that show's great.

the way it ended kind of wrapped it up- it would be hard to add to it. i was devastated that it had to end! i think it was one of the best things to ever come to tv, and i have every episode on dvd, for SATC marathons!
