I'm not scared of 666. I love black cats, broke tons of mirrors, and walking under ladders are fine. Never had bad luck, only stupid decisions. Also love the number 13.

Okay if no one is going to actually research this matter then i will attempt to answer it. The number 666 is considered the number of the beast for one reason, Imperfection. The number 777 was used in biblical times to address God's allmighty perfection. So in turn to ridicule God,------ satan used the number 666 to imply a distortion in God's perfection and kept that number for himself. So whoever is scared of the number has nothing to worry about, the number isn't going to bite you. It's the people who can't educate themselves on the importance of the numerical values that you should be cautious about.

I am not scared of black cats etc. In some cultures 6 means prosper, so 666 is triple prosper.

According to the Book of Revelation, the number six-hundred and sixty-six is the number of the Beast. Why do you claim it as 'your number?' Revelation specifically refers to it as "the number of a certain man... and his number is six-hundred and sixty-six." You are not that certain man; Revelation refered to a certain historical personage alive during the time the Book of Revelation was written. So how is that 'certain man' alive 2,000 years ago, you?
And no, the number itself evokes no fear in me. It is a number you have written in Arabian numerals, a numbering system that wasn't in vogue at the time and place Revelation was written, so in this day and age 666 is just another number.

I can't think of a single person, myself included, who has ever worried about the numbers '666' except for one Jesus Freak who lives down the street from me. She see it, and the signs of the world ending in everything from grapefruit to George Bush.

actually for the ill informed the number 666 was assigned to Nero who went on a killing spree because christians were destroying his village.

666 is the number of the Beast (not really satan) but it associated with all that is evil so that is why God has 777 - perfect number and overrides that of the Beast....ANd everything else is yes superstition - don't really care for that type of jezz

I am not scared of the number, but as a Christian, the Bible tells us that 666 is the number of the beast. (our enemy). So, we stay away from it.
