Not so loud! We're not supposed to be calling it a mistake. At least not 'our' mistake. That kind of careless talk can cause embarrassment to the president and make it look like we're a bunch of shoot-from-the-hip buffoons. Try to think of Vietnam and Iraq as something akin to a bad spouse. Sometimes, because we have a better since of right and justice (I don't need to tell you our successful history there) we have to do unpopular things to adjust the other guys attitude and making him a better citizen of the world. It's really a long and complicated thing to explain, but the main thing to keep in mind is that....try to keep your voice down when sounding doubtful on our foreign policy. Makes you seem like a naysayer. :)

i will allow you to recognize've by no potential easily regarded at both of those 3 conflicts. Afghanistan =/= Iraq =/= Vietnam. ordinary as that. And attempting to understand a distinct subculture and dealing with them to examine non violent kinfolk with them has constrained mileage even as the subculture in question is committed to rapine and slaughter, as many of the subculture in Afghanistan kinda easily is. or possibly you're an expert on the nuances of Pashto subculture and imagine that's similar to that of the Viet human beings or the Iraqi peoples. also, you do not ignore that there are distinct cultures in all of those international places, acceptable? I propose, you could tell me the adaptation between a Nuristani, a Hazara, and an Uzbek in Afghanistan, acceptable? Or a Montagnard, a Hmong, and Viet? Or a Kurd, an Assyrian, or a Shia, acceptable?

Yes, and it seems he is using the day by day history to make certain that he makes every mistake that Nixon made in Vietnam. Maybe Bush will win this just like Nixon won his War.

Yes, if not worse. This war is even less justified (not justified at all). This war is also used for curbing democracy right here. Our depth became enormous. We can only hope that next administration will be able to save our country.

Liberal Democrats are hurting this war effort in their blind hatred of Bush. They are America's enemy within.
