My husband and I named our daughter Sylvia. It's an easy name for everyone to pronounce, but it's not very common anymore. Other than that, there's Nyssa (Greek), Petra (Greek), Rayna (Scandinavian), Reanna (German), or Elena (Greek).

I know I've listed lots of Greek names. If you don't like any of these names I've listed, you should consult a baby name book. Greek names seem to be the best feminine, easily pronounced names.

Regan - From Shakespear.

Not common or weird. Easy to pronounce. And strong yet femine.

I tend to like the name Brianna Skye(first and middle name); girl's name that's "southwestern", but doesn't sound native American.

It's a name I'd give if Mrs. Wizard gave me a daughter (which I wish we also had for our son's sister), Brianna Skye symbolizes someone intelligent, independent with artistic creativity: something positive I'd be blessed if such came from my daughter.

Olivia... -Latin, meaning 'peace'- Liv or Livi for short. it's feminine and not heard of often these days. we liked that name a lot but have had 2 boys -Kye (Kai= water) & Koah (Koa=tree)- whose names are Hawaiian. we tweeked them a bit to go with their middle names. they also have other meanings depending on where you look. i'd encourage you to do your own search... who knows what you'll find or how you'll want to change something to suit your baby. so many options these days! hope you find the perfect name and enjoy your new baby!
