The most I ever paid was $3.23 per gallon. This was in South Eastern Pa, in Bucks County, which is about 25 miles north of downtown Philadelphia.

I think it was 3.29 not long after Hurricane Katrina ripped through the south. I'm up in North Dakota and thats the highest I've seen it in my area.
